-Kim Gordon
I left my comfort zone when I was about 16. After doing just about all the performing I could in my hometown of Amarillo, Texas, I left to continue my education at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. Before then I had seized every opportunity a young artist could through arts organizations in my community like Amarillo Little Theatre, Amarillo Opera, and the Amarillo Summer Youth Musical. I took that foundation and built on it with the help of the wonderful teachers at Interlochen to prepare me for the collegiate level.
I continue to pursue my passion to this day, most recently appearing as a Dancer in Texas! the Outdoor Musical, and as Costard in a production of Love’s Labors Lost with Shakespeare in the Canyon. I am currently a Musical Theatre student at the University of Hartford and will graduate in 2022.

Skills
I was only eight years old when I joined Amarillo Youth Choir which provided the perfect structure and opportunity to perform not only in Amarillo but on the world's stage including performances in Hawaii and at the renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City. That initial training "set the stage" for me to be asked to perform in the children's chorus for Amarillo Opera's La Boheme. Being in a professional production in a high-end performance space sparked the imagination of young me and I began to see my future in the performing arts.
I have had the privilege of performing alongside some industry greats including Craig Schulman, Matthew Morris, Julie Benko, Mikki Sodergan, Liz Callaway, Danny Zolli, Chuck Wagner, Raul Melo, Michael Corvino and many others. In addition to sharing the stage with these great talents, I have been able to learn from and be mentored by Emily Koch, Isaiah Johnson, Christopher Sams, Brian Nash, Lothar Eaton and Theresa Rowley.
